Bios

• Mr Brian

  Brian and his wife Theresa became owners of the Hardin Valley Goddard in 2022. They have owned the Farragut location since 2019 and are happy to continue their Goddard journey in Hardin Valley.

• Collin

  Mr. Collin is great resource for us here at the Goddard School. He helps in classrooms whenever needed, maintenance, and is our closing administrator up in the office.

• Ms Lindsey

  Ms. Lindsey is the Education Director and has been at Hardin Valley since June of 2023. She has worked with Goddard since 2017 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She enjoys hiking on the weekends and her favorite part of working as a director is greeting each kiddo as they arrive for the day.

• Mrs Meagan

  Mrs. Meagan is our Operation Director, she started March 2023. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and has worked in the childcare industry since 2019. When she is not at work she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

• Mrs Rachel

  Mrs. Rachel is our Lead Teacher in the Seahorse/Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2004 and she has been with us since 2014. Rachel has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development from East Tennessee State University. When Rachel is not at work, she enjoys watching movies, reading and spending time with her family!

• Mrs Charnita

  Charlie is our Lead Teacher in the Clownfish/Preschool classroom. She has been in the field of early childhood education since 1997. Charlie has her Child Development Associate (CDA) and has been with us since 2017. When she is not at work she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

• Elianna

  Miss Elianna is the Lead in our Squids/Young Toddler classroom. Majority of her time in childcare has been with the one year olds, so she fits in perfect with our adorable Squids class. She worked at our Farragut location and has ample amounts of experience to take on the role as lead. We are excited for what she brings to our school!

• Ms Hillari

  Hillari is our Lead Teacher in the Starfish/Preschool class. She has worked in the field of early childhood since 2007. Hillari has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and has been with us since 2011. When she isn't spending time with her Starfish kids, she enjoys being outside and spending time with her dogs!

• Mrs Kayla

  Kayla is our Lead Teacher in the Stingrays/Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since August 2007 and she has been with us since 2012. Kayla has her Bachelor of Human Services and Minor in Early Childhood Education from East Tennessee State University. When Kayla is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

• Mrs Kristian

  Kristian is the Lead Teacher in our Dolphins/ Twos classroom. Kristian has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2012 and she has been with us since 2016. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) and when she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her friends, playing video games and watching movies.

• Mrs Melinda

  Melinda (MeMe) is our Lead Teacher in the Jellyfish classroom, she has been at Goddard since 2016 and has her Child Development Associates. She is currently enrolled in the LENA specialization course and is doing big things with our toddlers.

• Mrs Ola

  Ola is one of our Stingrays/Pre-Kindergarten teachers. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since 1994 and she has been with us since 2014. Ola has her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and when she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and relaxing near a beach!

• Rachel

  Miss Rachel comes to us with previous Goddard experience in Chicago! She has a Master's Degree from Oxford and is a highly qualified resource/closing teacher. She loves the young toddlers and exhibits great patience and kindness working with them!

• Mrs Sarah

  Sarah is the Lead Teacher in the Guppies classroom. She joined us in 2021 and enjoys rock climbing, spending time with her friends and family and playing with her dog when she isn't at work!

• Ms Ashley

  Miss Ashley is our assistant teacher in the Sharks classroom, she started with us as a floater and has been a wonderful addition to our team.

• Ms Brianna

  Brianna is our Squids/ Young Toddler assistant teacher. She came to us in January 2024 specifically looking for a position with our young toddlers. She enjoys our younger kids but is willing to help anywhere as needed. We are happy to have Miss Brianna on our team.

• Mrs Brooke

  Mrs. Brooke is our Lead teacher in the Belugas classroom, she joined our team in 2022 and is such an asset. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and ice skating.

• Caelyn

  Miss Caelyn is our Jellyfish Assistant Teacher. She comes to us with childcare experience and loves working alongside Mrs. Melinda and the rambunctious two year olds!

• Mrs Candace

  Candace is one of our Dolphin/ Twos teachers. She has been working in the field of education for 6 years and she has been a member of our team since 2020. Candace enjoys reading and hanging out with her kids when she is not with her babies at work!

• Jenna-Grace

  Miss Jenna-Grace (or Miss Jay) has a ton of experience in childcare. She works alongside Mrs. Charlie in our Clownfish class as the Assistant Teacher. She has jumped right into it, and we appreciate her willingness to be a team player as well as learn and grow here at our school!

• Ms Jennison

  Jennison is our Manatees Lead Teacher. She came to us with infant experience but happily helped out wherever she was needed as a part time floater. When she went full time she accepted an assistant position in the Manatees classroom and thrived! We are excited to have her on our team as a Lead.

• Mrs Kayla

  Kayla is the assistant teacher in our Guppies classroom, she has been with us since August of 2023, and she has thrived in the Guppies classroom. When she's not at work she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband.

• Kimmy

  Miss Kimmy comes to us from California and a love for children. She has wanted to learn and grow here and has picked it up very quickly. Kimmy floats around to different classrooms helping where necessary!

• Mykah

  Miss Mykah has years of childcare experience. She comes in everyday with a smile and a happy greeting to each child. We love her energy and her willingness to jump in a help where needed!

• Ms Paige

  Paige is one of our Seahorse/Pre-Kindergarten teachers. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2010 and she has been with us since 2016. Paige has her Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Pellissippi State Community College. When she is not at work, Paige enjoys reading, baking and creating art!

• Ms Rachel

  Miss Rachel is our assistant teacher in the Jellyfish classroom. She started with us in January 2024 and has helped out in many classrooms. She has been a great asset in our Jellyfish classroom, and we are excited to see her grow in our school.

• Serenity

  Ms. Serenity is our Lead Teacher in Our Sea Turtles class. She comes to us with young toddler experience and loves how fun and engaging it is to be with the toddlers. We can't wait to see what she brings to the Goddard School!

• Whitteny

  Miss Whitteny is the Assistant Teacher in our Clownfish class. She loves working with kids and has jumped right in with the 3 year olds!

  Miss Daja is our Assistant Teacher in the Manatees classroom, she joined our team with lots of childcare experience but with a specialty in infant care. She has been a wonderful addition to our team.

• Elizabeth

  Miss Beth is one of our many resource teachers. She was referred to us from one of our families with experience as a nanny and babysitter. She absolutely loves children of all ages and is thriving in every classroom she visits.

• Emma

  Emma came to us with Pre-K experience and has taken over the position of closing teacher in our Dolphins class. She is working with us part time while she finishes her degree!

• Jeanine

  Miss Jeanine is the Assistant Teacher in our Sea Turtles class. She is one of our newer teachers, but she has jumped right into the role. She loves the organized chaos of the toddler room, and we are so happy to have her!

• Katie

  Katie is our Squids closer; she came to us with childcare experience and a love for kiddos. She has excelled in our young toddler classroom, and we are happy to have her on our team.

• Mrs Kaylan

  Kaylan is one of our many resource teachers who comes with 7 years of prior Goddard experience. She works part time and handles our lunch duties along with any breaks. She is a wonderful asset in any class she visits. When she is not at work, she likes watching tv and spending time with her family.

• Kendall

  Miss Kendall plays softball in college and works with us as a part time as a closing teacher. She is eager to learn and grow at our school!

• Laura

  Miss Laura is one of our newest editions to the team! She is currently in school, so she works with us part time as our closing Dolphins Teacher and she loves working with the two-year-olds!

• Melissa

  Mrs. Melissa came to us as a practicum student and fell in love with our school. She is working with us full time during the Summer and then subbing during the school year. Melissa has a very positive and fun personality, and the kids love her!

• Savannah

  Miss Savannah is one of our part time closing resource teachers. She is currently in school and loves working with the kids when she isn't studying!

• Ms Zoe

  Miss Zoe is our Lead Teacher in the Sharks classroom, she has been with us since July of 2023 and is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Tennessee. She started as a floater and fell in love with the toddlers, we are happy to have her on our team. When she is not at work she enjoys going on trips, working out and spending time with her friends.
